I heard about this place reading about a Yelp event that was held here. A friend who went to that event said: "Their Chicago style deep dish pizzas are off the hook!" My pizza Jones took immediate notice and insisted that I bookmark the place, so I did. When I got there, the place didn't look anything like what I expected. It looks like what it is - a small link in a moderately upscale chain of pizza restaurants. Apparently there are now 14 of these places. Still, I withheld judgment and studied the menu. There are three crust styles - skinny, thin crust, and deep dish. I've always been a fan of deep dish Chicago-style pizza, and double-stuffed (which sadly isn't one of Fresh Brothers' offerings) makes my heart beat faster. From what I've read in Yelp reviews for some of the stores in LA, what they do best here is the thin crust. Given that, we decided to get a thin crust and a deep dish pizza. After all, with pizza, it's always good to have leftovers :-) Here's what we ordered: - A medium thin crust "Old School" (Meatballs layered with pepperoni and smothered with spicy Giardiniera) yelp.com/biz_photos/fres… - A medium deep dish "Da Works" (Sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onion. Spice it up with Giardiniera) yelp.com/biz_photos/fres… - "Fresh Knots" (Garlic bread tied in tasty knots, dusted with parmsan, served with pizza sauce on the side) yelp.com/biz_photos/fres… My first very pleasant surprise - the "Fresh Knots" are completely legit! They're hot, tasty, and much better than I expected to encounter in a chain restaurant, no matter how upscale it may be. Heartened by the unexpected quality, I bravely proceeded to the pizzas... Deep dish fan that I am, I tried "Da Works" first. The crust is above average on the "Independent Suspension" front. It droops not at all even under this substantial topping load. That said, I'd rate the gestalt taste experience of this pizza no better than 3.5 stars. It doesn't hold a candle to Rance's in Costa Mesa (or any of the Bay Area's "Holy Trinity", for that matter); nothing to justify a return visit. Remembering that this outfit is known for their thin crust pies, I focused my attention there. Very pleasant surprise #2: The thin crust pies are "square-cut" (aka "party cut"), instead of the classic triangle shape. I only see this rarely, but one of my favorite Chicago style thin-crust crust joints ("The Spot" in La Jolla) serves theirs that way, so my expectations for our thin crust "Old School" immediately went up. Measuring the Independent Suspension of a square-cut pizza is like trying to get shoes on a rattlesnake - it just doesn't fit. That said, I found the thin crust shape much more suited to the taste of Fresh Brother's pizza dough than the deep dish. It works pretty darn well. All the toppings are decidedly above average for chain pizza, and the sauce tasted fresh and zesty. What really elevated this pizza completely over the top was the Giardiniera. It's an order of magnitude better than any I've had in quite a spell. So good, in fact, that I looked it up on the restaurant's web site, and saw that they import the stuff directly from Chicago in one and two pallet-sized lots. I'm a total fan of Fresh Brothers thin crust pizza! Next time I go back, I'm going to order both an "Old School" and something else to broaden my exposure to this surprisingly good new find. I'm also going to check out the corkage fee. Last time, the girl at the counter was so stunned at question about how much it was that she just offered me a corkscrew. This time, I'm going to confirm with management what the "official" corkage policy is. I'm hoping to discover that their corkage is free, but as long as it doesn't venture into Ludicrous Territory (like Wolfgang Puck's "Cut" in Vegas) I'm down as a repeat offender!

Pizza is always delicious with fresh and flavorful toppings - love the Fresh Momma's favorite! Mega grain crust is a bonus if you want to feel *healthy* Got a move-in mailer for a free pizza with order of a salad- ordered from the manager Chris who was extremely courteous and helpful. Really appreciate the friendly customer service!! Delivery has been faster than expected (quoted as an hour on wknd nights, 45 mins on weeknights, but shave off about 15 mins in reality, which the hungry belly greatly appreciates)

Anyone who calls this pizza is completely clueless to what pizza is. Cardboard crusts are not pizza. A thicker cardboard crust is not considered deep dish. Eat the pizza while it's still hot becAuse the colder it gets the harder the crust becomes. Dry, dense, cracker like are the words that come to mind. And you can forget about looking forward to having pizza leftovers for breakfast the next day because by that point it is completely inedible. Major bummer! It's baffling how so many people like the pizza. Bah, I forgot I was in California! Of course they like the pizza. Native Californians do not understand the language of PIZZA! And I don't understand the language of nasty tofu. That's an entirely other rant so I'll stick with the pizza. Their salads are good though. They give you lots of veggie options and the option of getting your slad chopped with the dressing. Fresh Brothers needs to add yeast to their dough and let the dough rise before making a pizza. Someone forgot to sign up for the yeast course class at the 'how can i make pizza and open several stores while I am completely clueless to what pizza is' school. I grade you an overall F and give you no credit for effort. Yeastless pizza dough is no effort.

This is my favorite Fresh Brothers location. Not only because it is the closest to home, but located right at Gelson's so you have plenty of easy parking and can stroll through there while waiting for you pizza to get done. I kept it simple with a large cheese and while it might have looked plain, it was very tasty! Great ingredients, good sauce, cheese and crust which is essential in any good pizza. Location is nice and super clean, inside and outside seating and the staff is exceptionally nice, fast and on top of their game, my favorite place to grab pizza in the area!

So pizza lovers everywhere if you are watching what you eat this is the place for you!!!! My new healthy life style only allows me to eat whole grains. The fact that they have a whole grain crust is uh-may-zing!!! They pride themselves on fresh ingredients and healthy-er choices and I fully support that! It's nothing fancy quick stop in or take out! The pizza is super tasty and you can say you stayed healthy. I ordered the skinny crust cheese pizza! So good!

Gave them another try and it was perfect. Great customer service, great food, and the order was perfect. Thanks Debbie.

Salads made fresh. You can get the greens shredded or chopped. The chicken is the Cobb salad is so tender and tasty. Greens taste very fresh. They have extra thin pizza crust, never seen that anywhere. YUMM Or deep dish! Try the roasted garlic BBQ sauce!! HAPPY PIZZAING!!!

Wings are meaty Deep dish is hearty. Lots of crust Ingredients are top notch .. You can tell because the next day it's not the same Delivery is fast. If they tell you 45 min it might be 30 Good family meal specials Not low priced but worth the $$

Got the lox & cream cheese. They skimped on everything but the crust. I didn't even taste the lox. Very disappointing. How does anyone call this pizza?!

More accurate rating: 3.75 We ordered the Fresh Momma's Favorite on thin crust to-go and were pretty excited to try it, from glance it looked extremely fresh. They cut the pizza into squares, which although was kind of weird for me, I also liked that it was different. They definitely live up to their name! It tasted so fresh and there was SO much spinach and mushroom! Every bite was extremely tasty. The only knock is that the middle pieces started to get soggy and stuck to the box. We did take it to-go though, and are going to try and make it out and try it hot out of the oven soon! Next on the list is to try their meatball sliders.

The best part of our stay in Orange County! Yummy!

Love their pizza! Fresh ingredients & they offer super thin crust which is our favorite & lower carb. Veggie pizza w/turkey sausage is perfect!!

Many have tried, and many have failed to make a "Chicago Style" thin crust in California. Fresh Brothers is not one of the failures. I have ordered on a couple occasions their thin crust sausage (which apparently they ship the sausage from Chicago). It was fantastic. Crust thin, not crispy, but not soggy. Cheese perfectly browned. Sauce, not rich and slightly sweet. And the sausage was tender and flavorful. Thumbs up Fresh Brothers. You've done it. I consider myself a Chicago Thin Crust specialist being from Chicago and this is the best I've had since I came to California 12 years ago. Also...it reheats VERY well, so don't be afraid to get a size larger for leftovers!

Well it is fresh & it was delivered hot. But pizza is blah & didn't even keep what was left over.

When living in OC you really do not have much choice as things are also driven by how Irvine Company see's fit. Each time we ordered delivery the order was never complete or right...YES this had been addressed each time but it did not seem to click in.

If I'm being honest, this is definitely more of a 3.5 star review rather than a 3, but I felt it was more important to say 3 stars vs. 4 stars. I ordered Fresh Brothers for my office's Monday lunch. The gal who took my order was very friendly and very efficient. I asked for the pizzas to be delivered at 1PM and they were here a bit early, which was nice because it gave me a chance to set up before the feeding frenzy!!! Like the radio commercials says, these pizzas come hot, fresh & ready. We ordered 4 gluten free pizzas (Greek, Veggie, BBQ Chicken & Margherita). While the pizzas were hot & fresh, the flavor felt lackluster and the cheese was practically falling off each piece. It was quite difficult to eat a piece without ripping all the cheese off the first bite. Of the 4 pizzas we ordered, the veggie was the best of the bunch because they were a lot of toppings in each bite. The Greek was interesting because it had a little bit of kick in every bite and tasted a bit tangy. The BBQ chicken was too sweet for my liking and the Margherita was nothing memorable... We also ordered a fresh salad and cobb salad to share. My coworkers seemed to enjoy them, but liked the cobb salad more because it had a good topping to lettuce ratio. Pros: -Good Service -Nice delivery guy -Good Salads Cons: -Pizzas are small given the price -Cheese doesn't stick to the pizza -Online ordering system isn't amazing (That's why I called instead!)

What the hell did you guys do Irvine Company. You took out my favorite pizza place in Newport Coast and replaced it with a pizza joint that tastes like bowling alley pizza. I also hear you guys tried to buy the previous tenants liquor license, but failed and can't get one because apparently the shopping center has two major retail outlets that do. If you had one great I could probably drown my frustrations of food quality from consuming an adult beverage.

Fresh Brothers replaced Z Pizza, which I loved. The pizzas are flavorless, I hate to say. It is close to our house, but I will go a pretty good distance to find something better. I keep trying it, hoping it will get better. Still waiting.

Suzie B.
VERY INCONSIDERATE. I have ordered pizza several times to-go but have to admit that I miss Z Pizza. Fresh Brothers is way overpriced for what you get as the pizzas are just average. Salads are wilted and soggy. But the WORST PART is that the delivery cars take up the best parking spots in the front row. Even if the food were good, I would boycott them just out of principle. Who lets delivery vehicles take the best parking spots away from customers?

Came here for family dinner last minute since most places closed early. We ordered wings, salad, 2 large pizzas one with bacon and pepperoni and the next was DA WORKS! We had ordered a side of artichokes but they accidentally put artichokes on the pizza. The lady that took our order came nicely to inform us that the artichokes were on the pizza but that they can just make us a new one in minutes. We informed her it was okay and not to bother. Being a group of 10 including 3 kids it's kinda hard having them run around. They were very patient and apologetic that the pizza order was messed up on their part. Later the woman that took our order provided us with a few free pastries for the inconvenience! Not only was the food delicious but the customer service was superb!! Thank you FRESH BROTHERS!!

This place replaced the old zpizza place next to the pick up stix. I didn't try this place out until recently when my dad decided to stop by and pick up some wings. I'm not sure how he ordered it but it was pretty good. You can order the chicken tossed in a sauce or the sauce on the side, which I believe my dad did. He got BBQ, mild hot sauce which was Tabasco and ranch. The chicken was cooked to perfection with a thin crispy layer of skin on the outside. The second time, I went with my mom to get wings. The inside is very clean with contemporary wood tables and the staff we're super friendly. I ordered the wings tossed, half in the Tabasco and the other half BBQ. These were really good as well. I have yet to try their pizza. I'm not too sure what they have but I have yet to try it out. :)

Just got pizza for the kids. I had to have a wee slice. They cut the pizzas in square slices. Great thin crust. Very fresh. Definitely one of the kids favorite places. Taste super with the red peppers on top.

What a great place! I wish they had one closer to Huntington Beach but this is a super yummy place when in the area. Went there with some girlfriends and our kids. While we waited a lady came over and handed the kids (after asking) some pizza dough to play with. What a cute idea!! It's not crayons and paper like everywhere. I got a mini pizza and salad combo, which was huge! I went home with half. A little pricy but worth it!

The pizza here is very good and the one I ordered was half triple pep and half aloha pizza. It was a decent price and was ready to pickup within 25 minutes. When I got there the staff were very friendly and attended me immediately while they where helping someone else order. The pizza is cut into rectangle instead of the normal triangles which is nice and original. I noticed that the store had a sports bar vibe to it and it would probably be a good place to watch a game especially since they have a big menu with a lot more than just pizza although they are known for their pizza. I recommend this place to anyone and I think it is much better than the big pizza chains like Domino's and Pizza Hut.

Solid pizza place! They make personal pizzas made to order. Their pizza is delicious. Good to have another tasty pizza option in the neighborhood! They also offer deep dish crust, but I opted for the thin crust.

Checked out Fresh Brothers the other day. I was very satisfied with my decision to do that. Good job, me!!! Went and got a pizza, wings and a Cobb salad. The pizza was delicious. So much cheesy goodness! They don't skimp on the toppings, that's for sure. The chicken wings were full sized and very meaty and juicy. The salad had a ton of ingredients and tasted great. The restaurant was clean...the parking was ample...the service was friendly. Overall, a great experience for me. Fresh Brothers...you've got a new fan! I'll be back for sure!

First of all I have to say that trading ZPizza for Fresh Brothers was not a good trade in my book. ZPizza, which occupied this space for many years before Fresh Brothers arrived, was a very decent pizza. I used to eat there all the time. Fresh Brothers to me is more a kids' type of pizza. It reminds me of Chuckie Cheese pizza. Not terrible, but kind of soft and pillowy, just not how I want to have my pizza. So it's really a preference thing. I just like a little more chew to my pizza. If you have young children they will probably love this pizza. And maybe some people from the Midwest. They do that Midwest "party cut" on the pizzas instead of cutting the slices in wedges. Another beef I have with Fresh Brothers is that they don't sell slices (ZPizza did of course). This type of pizza could easily be sold in squares or slices or whatever. But they elect not to sell slices. You have to buy a whole pizza and wait around for it to cook. They do sell some pretty small pizzas but when I want a slice I want a slice! On the positive side, they often have people out in front of the restaurant giving away free sample pieces of pizza. So if you hit it right you can get a free 1/10th of a slice. Finally, all of the people who work there are very friendly, which also gets them a star. If it was just for the pizza itself I think I would l give the pizza two stars.

Best pizza my kids love it here! !! They gave kids some dough to amuse them while waiting . What a lifesaver when you got two hungry kids kept them amused!!!!

I like the pizza just fine. It is said to be healthy so that is good. The chicken wings have little meat. The sliders are great! However, when we ordered "thin" crust, the lady said okay. We called as it was not thin crust on delivery. She said all pizzas are "thin" and you have to order skinny. I said, how did I know that - your crust is not thin. She said it is thin enough. Expect nicer people and better service in Newport.

Went to check out their gluten free! Got the personal magherita which had nice cheese mozzarella and fresh tomatoes . Crust was crispy maybe a touch too browned but better than zpizza ! Gluten free California pizza kitchen still better though Fresh Brothers is definitely a runner up Gluten free wings not fried were delish and service was great even remembered my name Will be back

It's too bad that "co-owner" Scott can't take simple feed back on the poor quality of food delivered. It was worse just listening to him argue and be so defensive!! Over and over. All I wanted to tell them was the fresh market salad ... NOT so fresh!! Lettuce was all wilted and old. Chopping the spring lettuce salad mix with Romain doesn't seem to work for the not-so-fresh market salad. Scott says he personally oversees the food going out and even delivered it. Now that's some quality management. Don't order the Marguerite pizza .. Yuk, huge thick lumps of cold mozzarella not melted much on every slice is pretty tough to chew on. Was told there would be pesto sauce with the basil mozzarella and tomato slices but it was actually red sauce everywhere. Chicken wings plain with sauce on the side was much better than the taste of their garlic Bbq sauce all over it It was nice they refunded expense for poor quality but we were not asking for a refund. It's impossible to give any opinion of the food to help them improve ..not worth the "owner" defensive attitude.

Coming from LA, we were SO disappointed with the pizza game in Orange County, so imagine the sheer excitement when we discovered a Fresh Brothers! The pizza was steaming hot and the thin crust was pure perfection. Manager, Favi, also from Marina Del Rey, was a total sweetheart and made it feel more like a local pizza restaurant than a chain. Clean environment, flat screens everywhere, and open space outside make this location a great place to watch a game with friends and family. Thanks!

FIVE STARS all around! I've ordered Fresh Brother's food (not just pizzas) from the Newport Beach location more times than I care to mention publically. But I can disclose that every experience with Fresh Brothers has been nothing short of terrific. The unwavering, positive energy and service from the staff, either on the phone or delivery, the quality and yumminess of their pizzas - it is clear that happy employees make good food. So even management gets a thumbs up. I was convinced that a good pizza joint in SoCal was a lost cause (also having lived in Chicago for many years) until Fresh Brothers moved into the neighborhood! Please keep up the great work in 2015! Thanks!

Yum! Tried Fresh Brothers for the first time today. It's located in the Gelson's market plaza with plentiful parking. The restaurant itself looks brand new. High quality wood chairs and tables. Bright and spacious. And it's impossible not to notice the flat screen televisions everywhere! There's even two in the restroom. Interesting. On to the Pizza. Thin Crust. Half Sausage, Half Hawaiian. Came out piping hot and perfectly cooked. Thin and crispy, with tangy tomato sauce complimenting the cheese. Tasty!! Looking forward to stopping by again to try out more pizzas and their appetizers.

I don't understand why they have 4 stars and I'm not going to bother reading any other reviews besides a 5 start. Do you know why? Because when you have just one bite you'll understand. This pizza was epic. I had it today at a friends Super Bowl Sunday party and I almost died. It was the perfect blend of sauce, cheese, pepperoni and a dash of pineapple. And don't get me started on their wings with hot sauce. Be sure to order an extra pizza, let it cool down, Saran Wrap it and put it in the freezer for a few days later... I've yet to try it, but that's what I'm doing this week for my second try of their amazing pizza. I'll be dreaming of it tonight and every night until I get it again! #inlove

Im originally from NYC, so i prefer thin crust. As far as deep dish goes, my #1 favorite is in Chicago. Fresh Brothers is #2 in the country, IMHO. They have the best deep dish pizza in California. Been going to the one in Marina del Rey for several years now. So happy they finally opened one near us. Da Works deep dish is our favorite. Have tried pizzas, but keep going back to Da Works. Talking to one of the owners, they ship in their sausage, meatballs and pepperoni from Chicago. No wonder it's so good.

Amazing fresh salads and pizza. It's so refreshing to see a new high quality pizza place in town. Family owned and family operated. You have to try it.

No complaints here! Pizza and mozzarella sticks were delivered to our room at Hyatt Newport Beach on time and piping hot. Plates and napkins came in a paper bag along with small individual containers of red peppers and what must have been fresh grated Parmesan cheese because it was the most soft and fluffy Parmesan cheese I've ever sprinkled on a pizza. The pizza tasted great, it had a good ratio of toppings to crust. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Hate to say it, but this place has just continued to go down hill since it's opening, and that is such a disappointment. Service is good but the food has slipped majorly.

Listen, I travel all over California for business, and have been doing so for almost 30 years. Pizza is my favorite lunch food. It's tough to find a good pizza place that's got the goods. It's hit and miss out there; maybe the food is good but atmosphere sucks or the pizza has some good and not so good elements. Fresh Brothers has it locked down! The place is clean, run well, the staff looks and acts professional and above all - the pizza is ALL GOOD. The crust, the sauce, the cheese, and all the toppings are delicious and cooked just right. I got a personal sized pepperoni pizza and it was enough but I saw salads, wings, and these garlic-knots that had my mouth watering! I'll be back for sure! Do yourself a favor, next time you're in the mood for pizza, and more - forget the other guys and steer your face to this place - you won't be sorry.

excellent thin crust! If you are a fan of Mid-West style pizza this place is for you. We had the triple pep on skinny crust it was great. They cut their pizza in squares so you know it's mid-west original. We will certainly be back Kinda want one right now!

Well, I've only heard great things about Fresh Brothers but now I can say its all TRUE. I went to a party this weekend and all the food was from the Fresh Brothers, Newport Beach location. Seriously FRESH ingredients, from the salads to the pizzas. I had to try a piece of every pizza! I don't know how they make their pizza sauce but it made my taste buds dance. Mahalo for keeping it real!

Great service with excellent food. Wonderful salads, incredibly delicious meatball sliders too. My son loves the vegan choices. Pizza is very tasty. This place is a pizza place that's a step up from all others. Atmosphere is casual and fun with simple elegance lots big screens. Everyone and anyone would enjoy eating here or picking up Togo. Best new place I have discovered. Try it you will love it!
(5)
Kirsten H.
The food was alright. But considering they made it seem like it was actual Chicago style deep dish I was disappointed when I got my pizza. There was nothing "Chicago" about it. We didn't get our sauce with our garlic knots either which was disappointing, kind of like eating dried pizza crust. Our wings were pretty good, the sauce was tasty but they could have been a bit more crispy.

The best delivery pizza ever! Their meatball sliders are my FAVORITE! Great wings too! I'd definitely recommend it to everyone!

Best pizza delivery in Newport area!!! We usually ordered from first class or Gina's but finally decided to try fresh brothers and man they blow those two out of the water. Got da works and hot buffalo wings. The wings were the best from any delivery service....very tender and sauce was delicious. Will definitely order from them from now on and no one else!!!

Ordered a 'make your own salad' and it was really good, fresh, chopped up perfectly and enough for me for two meals. Have tried the pizza too and it was also quite good. I love a healthy crust option! Both pick up and delivery have met expectations with pleasant service that and food that is ready/arrives on-time. A good addition to CDM area.

Fresh Brothers Pizza brought free pizza to my workplace as a promotion. I was like "free pizza count me in." Boy was I blown away. I will definitely be frequenting their new location in Newport. Their square thin style pizza is the perfect combination. Glad to have a place like this in Orange County!

Okay, Barbara again. I have been contacted by Fresh Brothers and they have more than made up for the inferior salad that I received in my to-go order. In fact, their attention to my comment and their customer service was OUTSTANDING. Thank you, Fresh Brothers. I appreciate you and I will be a loyal customer. :-)

Service, is probably a 3 at best. The pizza is a 5 according to my husband. He likes the deep dish. I am from Chi town and do not agree with the assessment. The thin crust is mediocre, but the ingredients are good. The flavor iof the ingredients are quality and the sauce is good... but not nearly as good as the sauce at"Johnny's". I give a 3, but Dwight gives a 5... so we settle at 4. Most importantly, pick up location is a 5. Delivery time as of 11/9/14 was 1:15 Pick up time was 45 min. This is pretty much unacceptable by any pizza standards... unless you are not that hungry when you order and have a good coupon

So I just tried to order a personal salad and pizza here. After having my cashier yell at everyone that walked in at an uncomfortable volume, I struggled to give my order. Lots of options of things which is fine in my book. After finally finishing my order togo, she then states that it's a 30 minute wait. 30 minutes? After I've gone through my order and was handing her my money! And it's not like I could have just grabbed a slice and gone on with my day. No pizza place should make you wait 30 minutes for a small pizza to go.

Love love love this pizza place! They aren't kidding with the "Fresh" in the name. Not only ah-mazingly fresh toppings, amazingly fresh crusts (more than three types), check out the amazing types of sauces. Check out their salads too! The whole family loves this place. Great for delivery, take out or eat in!! This pizza is just YUM.

Pizza arrived within time promised and it was HOT!!!! Shocking! Made-to-order salad was awesome. Hot wings were hot and meaty. Very happy that Fresh Bros is here! Highly reccommend!

So this totally would have been a 5-star review before tonight. I've been here a few times and have had the personal deep-dish/salad combo. And it's really good! The cheese is chewy just how I like it and the salads are really fresh. Tonight however, my pizza came with an extra ingredient. A long hair. I'm not freaking out about it because I work in the food business and I know these can happen sometimes but as you can imagine, this was not a fun experience. Sort of lost my appetite after that. Anyway, this place is loads better than Z-Pizza! Try it out!

Really great salads and wings. My wife and I like to eat fresh / healthy food so being able to have baked wings is pretty cool. Meatball sliders are tasty but a tad overpriced in my opinion. Great online ordering.

My absolute favorite pizza!!! I recommend the Skinny Crust Pepperoni or Mama's Favorite. Whatever you get it's going to be delicious! My husband and I first got hooked because of their free samples and now we order to way too often!

We've been there twice in 10 days and have tried four different salads, five different pizzas including gluten free (very good) and hot wings. Great fresh pizza toppings and my favorite thin crust (reminds of my after school job 40 years ago making pizzas with everything handmade) and yummy excellent size salads. The wings remind of upstate New York when they started.

Steve-o M.
The pizza here is so bland. The deep dish is terrible. The crust was about as rubbery as the duck in my baby cousins bath tub. Trader joes frozen turkey meatballs are better than the "meatballs" that came on my pizza. Based on several menu items I take that the owner is from Chicago if that's true he's giving that city a bad name. Nothing about this place seems fresh. It's nothing more than a Dominos with better marketing. Bring back Z Pizza cause this place stinks. Also don't pride yourself on shipping in meatballs from Chicago that just proves your food isn't fresh.

The pizza is delicious, the employees are super friendly and happy, and they gave the kids dough to play with at the table while we waited. The place is new and so it is also really clean, which is important for a germophobe like myself.

This was our first time. We got the Vegan pizza with thin crust. The service was great. The place was clean, tv's everywhere even in the restroom. They use Daiya cheese for the Vegan cheese, which is normal for restaurants. They also have gluten free options if you need that. We were very happy with the experience.

I had a great salad there just after they opened. Great food and a great place to go and sit with lots of TVs. We had a business meeting this past week and our location was slightly out of their delivery zone but they were nice enough to delivery anyway. The pizza was great! And the meatball sliders, well, amazing. So overall great food, clean place and a well trained staff. What else could you ask for?

Thin crust pizza is great and the kids sauce is a great touch. Love the sliders and the fresh salad chopped is divine However, what you should really know about this place is that as far as customer service goes, these guys are the Nordstrom of pizza places. One minor slip up in my order (I honestly barely noticed, but they sure did) and they went above and beyond to make it right. Food is good and attitude is terrific. Service like this is what makes me loyal. Thanks guys!

Fresh Brothers is simply phenomenal. Eaten at various locations at least 50 times and the pizza is always delicious; this new location is no exception. I also really like their wings, and the sliders are a fun and tasty alternative to pizza! I got to try the vegan tenders today, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Though not a vegan myself, I found this healthy option to be quite satisfying. The staff here are extremely friendly, and really make you feel welcome. When you come to Fresh Brothers, you really feel like you're part of their fresh family!

Just had delivery at my work & got the pepperoni, sausage & veggie pizzas. OMG! So yummy! The crust is so fresh & cooked to perfection. Way to go Fresh Brothers!

OK, the pizza is decent, but it isn't going to win any prizes. I'm a value guy, there are plenty of places that have really good food, so why waste money on average. Frankly at the price you pay it is on the high side. $25 for a "large", which is really a medium pizza is very high. A similar pizza a Zpizza is $18. It might only be a few dollars difference, but if the quality is the same or less why pay more. My family and I will likely not go here again.

Just ordered a pizza and some wings. Short of running to long beach for pizza and Huntington for wings, this is the best of both worlds. Everyone in the family is smiling at the table.

Yikes! Ordered a medium Margarita Pizza to go yesterday. $18 are you kidding me. It was supposed to be a thin crust pizza...I don't think they know what that is yet. The crust was just awful, could not eat it.........definitely not worth the calories or the price. I will never go back. If you want a good pizza go to Pirozzi in CDM not this place.

I just moved to newport beach from calabasas and get my pizza from the calabasas location, so I thought it would be the same. ITS NOT. The people who work here are very incompetent and got my entire order wrong, THEN the driver ruined the pizza by taking it out of the pizza sleeve upside down in front of me...the pizza was a disaster in a box. I then had to wait another hour for my pizza and they thought they could compensate all this time by "throwing in a litter of coke".

Ordered lunch for office today and usually get Gina's pizza. We had XL Cheese,Triple Pepperoni and Mama's Special with chicken. Got the fresh salad chopped and Greek salad chopped it was amazing! Called in order and was ready on time and correct!

I've eaten at Fresh Brothers twice now and I really LOVED it!!! I have food allergies and I was SO impressed to see that I could get a gluten free, vegan pizza and it was so good!!! My husband got the thin crust, regular pizza and he really liked it too! However, I will be going back for the AMAZING gluten free, vegan brownies. Seriously, these brownies are so good it's dangerous!!! On top of the great food, the service is excellent! Everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful. I will be going back a lot to Fresh Brothers for the great pizza, great service and incredible brownies!

We used the coupon that we got after my last review and gave them another chance. We got the deep dish this time. It was better. Nice and soft, although the crust did seem a little undercooked in the center. Oh well.

I stopped for lunch and ordered a caesar salad and a personal pizza. When I got home my lettuce was all wilted and soggy basically inedible. The pizza had no flavor and the crust was undercooked. Not worth my money.

Great concept. Courteous. I will make sure I ask for light sauce on my pizza next time. Was a bit bitter. BBQ salad is priced well but I didn't eat it right away so the lettuce wilted. Knowing this now I would return but eat the salad right away and less sauce

These five star ratings are ridiculous. It's just not good pizza. The thin crust tasted like a stale cracker, and if you pay extra for chicken, it comes in the form of cubes. Reminds me of school cafeteria pizza. Staff is friendly and they do seem to be efficient with their orders, but I'm out.

Great new pizza spot in Newport. Compared to the Z Pizza it replaced, Fresh Brothers is the In N Out of pie joints. The staff is young, energetic and friendly, the food is excellent and the restaurant is set up with televisions that cover every possible age group from cartoons to Bravo to ESPN. Much needed and welcome addition to the neighborhood.

VERY fresh salad. Very good wings, BAKED and with good sauce choices. The thin crust pizza has a pretty good tomato sauce and the overall quality is good. Service was outstanding, maybe because the owners are still there a week after opening, but I think it will hold. Lots of business for a new location. I'm pretty tough on pizza standards and this was possibly a bit too much like national chain quality to get a fifth star.

I went to Fresh Brothers tonight with my two kids in tow for dinner. It was a great experience meaning the food, atmosphere and employees were all fantastic! The kids got 7" pizzas and had the choice of three types of crust, which I loved. Also, they informed me they have a special "kid's sauce" with secret hidden veggies! Since it was our first time, I didn't order it, but I will next time for sure. I love that! I ordered a salad and they were very accommodating about taking out the meat and adding avocado. The salad was fresh and delicious. I tried the pizza and it was great too. I think the cheese is the stand out. It's really good for some reason! The sauce and crust were also excellent and the kids gobbled them down and gave it a double thumbs up (our family has a food rating code - ha ha!). They had balloons for my kids and pizza stickers that were a hit. Sometimes, the small things count! The employees were super friendly and checked on us, even though it's a casual order at the counter place, to make sure we were happy with the food. There are TVs everywhere, which the kids also liked and the place just had a great vibe overall. We will be back! Thanks Fresh Brothers!!!

I was leaving the harbor view center this afternnon at 5:20, one of their delivery drivers was coming into the parking lot, driving and reading his text messages at the same time. I recommend everyone boycot this business untill they get their drivers to drive safely, too many lives lost to this behavior.

Fifteen monitors in a small restaurant that is configured a bit off so as to make people compete between ordering pizza and getting a soda. Servers who seemed in a rush to move people along rather than create a welcoming environment. But, it's a pizza place --so how's the pizza? I got a deep dish pizza that was just okay. Not quite as good as BJ Chicago's which is not what it used to be....and no where as good as Selma's. Noisy. Did I mention that the place is noisy. It's made for people with attention-deficit disorder. Not pleasant. I will give it another chance but with a thin crust pizza.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(5)Natasha D.
So good!
(4)Don M.
Gave them another try and it was perfect. Great customer service, great food, and the order was perfect. Thanks Debbie.
(5)Kelly C.
(4)Jeff L.
Wings are meaty Deep dish is hearty. Lots of crust Ingredients are top notch .. You can tell because the next day it's not the same Delivery is fast. If they tell you 45 min it might be 30 Good family meal specials Not low priced but worth the $$
(4)Cynthia T.
Got the lox & cream cheese. They skimped on everything but the crust. I didn't even taste the lox. Very disappointing. How does anyone call this pizza?!
(1)Sophia L.
(4)Sarah S.
The best part of our stay in Orange County! Yummy!
(4)Kenna C.
Love their pizza! Fresh ingredients & they offer super thin crust which is our favorite & lower carb. Veggie pizza w/turkey sausage is perfect!!
(4)Mark W.
(5)Suzanne S.
Well it is fresh & it was delivered hot. But pizza is blah & didn't even keep what was left over.
(2)Patty ..
When living in OC you really do not have much choice as things are also driven by how Irvine Company see's fit. Each time we ordered delivery the order was never complete or right...YES this had been addressed each time but it did not seem to click in.
(2)Michelle H.
(3)Aria M.
(1)Nicole N.
Fresh Brothers replaced Z Pizza, which I loved. The pizzas are flavorless, I hate to say. It is close to our house, but I will go a pretty good distance to find something better. I keep trying it, hoping it will get better. Still waiting.
(2)Suzie B.
(2)Daisy M.
(5)Jeannie C.
(4)Shelley H.
Just got pizza for the kids. I had to have a wee slice. They cut the pizzas in square slices. Great thin crust. Very fresh. Definitely one of the kids favorite places. Taste super with the red peppers on top.
(5)Lindsey R.
(5)Tiffany B.
(4)Sara N.
Solid pizza place! They make personal pizzas made to order. Their pizza is delicious. Good to have another tasty pizza option in the neighborhood! They also offer deep dish crust, but I opted for the thin crust.
(4)Tony L.
(5)Tin R.
(3)Robert B.
Best pizza my kids love it here! !! They gave kids some dough to amuse them while waiting . What a lifesaver when you got two hungry kids kept them amused!!!!
(5)Lilly L.
(2)Clarissa M.
Went to check out their gluten free! Got the personal magherita which had nice cheese mozzarella and fresh tomatoes . Crust was crispy maybe a touch too browned but better than zpizza ! Gluten free California pizza kitchen still better though Fresh Brothers is definitely a runner up Gluten free wings not fried were delish and service was great even remembered my name Will be back
(4)Mj J.

Thanks!
(5)LA K.
Thanks!
(5)James V.
(4)Rose S.
Food is delicious! Such a perfect size personal pizza and gluten free and vegan choices. Great service staff is always friendly and helpful. Huge fan!
(5)David B.
#inlove
(5)W L.
(5)Raymond H.

Best pizza and bread sticks! Great customer service!! The salads are really good too! I go here once a week and look forward to continuing to go.
(5)Marilyn S.
I meet my mom and sister hear once a week and it is a delight. The thin crust pizza is delish and there are lots of vegan options. The staff is very friendly. I recommend!
(5)Hamad A.
We checked it here on Yelp and its great food we tried the fresh family platter appetizer and margarita pizza and fresh mama favorite and all were great plus had extra to take home for late snack. Meatballs sliders is a MUST try!!!

(5)Ellen S.
(5)Kirsten H.
(2)Christy R.
The best delivery pizza ever! Their meatball sliders are my FAVORITE! Great wings too! I'd definitely recommend it to everyone!
(5)Nick B.
(5)Melanie D.

(5)Barbara H.

(5)Brooke T.
Pizza arrived within time promised and it was HOT!!!! Shocking! Made-to-order salad was awesome. Hot wings were hot and meaty. Very happy that Fresh Bros is here! Highly reccommend!
(5)Jaclyn R.
Try it out!
(4)Dan B.
Great place to eat and order. Delicious pizza and outstanding customer service. Best service in Orange County . Never seen anything like it. Because of their service I am a regular customer. Keep it up!
(5)Gino and Ana Maria S.
Really great salads and wings. My wife and I like to eat fresh / healthy food so being able to have baked wings is pretty cool. Meatball sliders are tasty but a tad overpriced in my opinion. Great online ordering.
(4)Design T.
My absolute favorite pizza!!! I recommend the Skinny Crust Pepperoni or Mama's Favorite. Whatever you get it's going to be delicious! My husband and I first got hooked because of their free samples and now we order to way too often!
(5)Eric H.
(4)Steve-o M.
(1)Jennifer R.
The pizza is delicious, the employees are super friendly and happy, and they gave the kids dough to play with at the table while we waited. The place is new and so it is also really clean, which is important for a germophobe like myself.
(5)Mike M.
This was our first time. We got the Vegan pizza with thin crust. The service was great. The place was clean, tv's everywhere even in the restroom. They use Daiya cheese for the Vegan cheese, which is normal for restaurants. They also have gluten free options if you need that. We were very happy with the experience.
(4)Dean W.
(5)Cara w.
(5)Mitchell G.
(5)Brian D.
Staff is super friendly...Pizza w thin crust is very good. Greek salad chopped was best Greek Salad I've had. The young lady who helped me w my take out order was amazing...highly recommend
(5)Rachel B.
Just had delivery at my work & got the pepperoni, sausage & veggie pizzas. OMG! So yummy! The crust is so fresh & cooked to perfection. Way to go Fresh Brothers!
(5)Richard O.
(2)Larry D.
Just ordered a pizza and some wings. Short of running to long beach for pizza and Huntington for wings, this is the best of both worlds. Everyone in the family is smiling at the table.
(5)Tina O.
(1)Jaime F.
(1)Michelle T.
Ordered lunch for office today and usually get Gina's pizza. We had XL Cheese,Triple Pepperoni and Mama's Special with chicken. Got the fresh salad chopped and Greek salad chopped it was amazing! Called in order and was ready on time and correct!
(5)Ashley E.
(5)Shawna B.
We used the coupon that we got after my last review and gave them another chance. We got the deep dish this time. It was better. Nice and soft, although the crust did seem a little undercooked in the center. Oh well.
(2)Alison B.
I stopped for lunch and ordered a caesar salad and a personal pizza. When I got home my lettuce was all wilted and soggy basically inedible. The pizza had no flavor and the crust was undercooked. Not worth my money.
(1)Ellen G.
Great concept. Courteous. I will make sure I ask for light sauce on my pizza next time. Was a bit bitter. BBQ salad is priced well but I didn't eat it right away so the lettuce wilted. Knowing this now I would return but eat the salad right away and less sauce
(4)Bil R.
(2)Reed G.
(4)Midlife J.

(2)Honest M.
Just received my pizza and wings delivery order. DELICIOUS! Wow, so good. And fast too. Highly recommended. Very fresh, and clearly they're using top quality cheese and sauce.
(5)Brittany P.
Delicious pizza. Definitely try the meatball slider!! Great service.
